Some new buys... and some sweetz gift!

I promised to upload some of my new accessory buys.. and a better picture of the sweet little "wen(1) xin(1)" bear dollshouse Karrie got me from Bangkok. So here they are:

This is the sweet little bear's room.. gives u a very snuggly and cosy feeling doesn't it? Of course looking at the materials used to make it, you can make it yourself if you get down to it, unfortunately i don't have the patience nor time nor inspiration to now.. heh. It is really quite intricately made, wth vases of flowers, presents, and a bookshelf with bottles of beads, books and towels, and the cute little bear is dressed in a warm blue sweater. I do like it loads. Can lose myself in it for minutes on hand, just dreamily looking at the warm little room.. Unfortunately the bulb which lights up the inside of the room seems to have fused and i dunno how to change it.. Sad...

Next up are some of new accessory buys.. I am very into charms and long necklaces now.. hope i can find more good-value ones..

::The necklaces::

This is a big star necklace I have been looking for ages!! Since i like stars, i am also very fussy with the design of my starry stuff and I manage to get this good buy in a Far East outlet--only 15 bucks!! I have been looking for something like this for the longest time, and i found it on an outing with grace.. she says she's my lucky charm in bringing me luck to find the stuff i want.. haha.

I got this Tinkerbell necklace in the same outlet at only 10bucks!! It's so cool.. I saw it online selling at 23bucks and luckily i dint buy! it's super worth it.. and i find this Tinkerbell figurine better-made than some of the ones i have seen outside, so i am really quite lucky on this too.

A multi-charms necklace i got from Mini Bits. I loved it loads.. comprises of many shiny silver charms-a big curved heart, a bright silver coin, a lucky feather, a key, cross and some silver plates. It goes with almost everything i wear...

::The earrings::

~The unique~

It was Von's discovery.. haha. We were shopping at the 3rd level of the People's Park Complex at Chinatown, initially looking for beads and stuff to make accessories, but we cun find decent stores. However we discovered that the new People's Park Complex post-renovations has become like a mini=Far East. Needless to say, we bought more clothes.. blearghz.. As we were heading home before we do more damage to our accounts, Von saw this little pushcart where this uncle was selling handmade jewelry.. And i have to say, his stuff are really really unique, not the usual handmade stuff u see.. Plus he was super friendly, offering tips and lengthening a necklace Von wanted for her. If you bring a design to him, he would make it too. Most importantly, he doesn't repeat his designs nor keep copies of his designs.. meaning that I would not run into the chance of seeing someone wearing the same thing as i do. It would be one-of-a-kind! whee~ Von bought this super-cool necklace which looks more expensive than it costs and i bought 2 single-side earrings..

This is sooo diva-like. The uncle made this from black plastic which he burned and melted to obtain this shape. Super cool!

I love this! It was the first one that caught my eye. It is very intricately made, a double-layer of wire.. where one wire is twisted around the other to achieve this effect. He also told us that the shells that he used to make his jewelry with are handpicked. Basically he sees to everything himself. I have never met a cooler uncle haha.. He even told us that he would open classes teaching willing students how to make these jewelry.. which he says will be a profitable skill for them. Have u met more generous-hearted people who are willing to share their trade secrets?? I am sooo tempted to join the class.

::The Korean-ish sweet and cute::

Oooh.. i love my this yumilicious chocolate earrings from Mini-Bits.

This is a gift from grace.. sweetz of her=).. she's always pampering me with little gifts. It is of a sophisticated black lady with a jewel for a handbag. I think it's super creative la.

And here's my new box holding my often-worn necklaces... Bought the box from Ikea.. wish i had bought more haha.. One is definitely not enough.

This box holds all my new earrings. Some of them are good-value buys from Accessorize! Apparently Bugis Junction is undergoing major renovations and alot of the outlets are having sales.. including Accessorize! Am so lucky.. i do like their stuff but they are so overpriced on normal days. I bought 4 pairs of earrings at 70% off!! haha i am so auntie.. but like i said, a fashionista's biggest achievement is to make a cheapo thg look classy. haha. So who cares when you can get good buys man.

So that makes up all my new buys. I hope i can upload pics of my toy collection soon. hehz.
